Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how 49th State PAC (the "Organization," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you. It covers information gathered through our websites, mobile sites, apps, and other online services that link to this policy (together, the "Sites"), as well as information collected when you interact with us in other ways.
We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above, and we may give additional notice, such as a notice on our homepage or an email. We encourage you to check this policy regularly to stay informed about how we handle information and how you can protect your privacy.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
We collect information you provide to us directly, such as when you complete a form, contribute, email us, subscribe to updates, sign a petition, volunteer, create an account, register for an event, enter a contest or promotion, make a purchase, engage with us on social media, or otherwise contact us. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone and mobile numbers, payment card details, and any other contact or identifying information you choose to share.
Federal campaign finance law also requires us to collect certain donor information. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) requires us to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of any individual whose contributions to 49th State PAC total more than $200 in a calendar year.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or use the Sites, we automatically collect certain information, including:
Log information: your browser type, access times, pages viewed, IP address, and the referring page that led you to our Sites.
Device information: details about the computer or mobile device you use, such as hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Cookies and similar technologies: we may place cookies (small data files stored on your device) to improve the Sites, understand which features are popular, and count visits. We may also use web beacons, also called tracking pixels, in our Sites and emails to help deliver cookies, measure visits and campaign performance, and see whether an email was opened or acted on. See "Your Choices" below for how to manage cookies.
Information From Other Sources
We may receive information about you from other sources and combine it with information collected through the Sites. For example, if you sign in using a social media account, we may receive information such as your name, profile details, and connections, subject to that platform's permissions. We may also use outside information for list-matching purposes.

How We Share Information
We may share information about you in the following ways, or as otherwise described in this policy:
With vendors, consultants, service providers, and volunteers who need it to perform work for us;
With candidates, campaigns, organizations, and causes we believe share our political values or goals, and with groups that help such organizations communicate and share information;
With the FEC, to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year (see www.fec.gov for more information);
When we believe disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
When we believe your conduct violates our policies or agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Organization, its staff, volunteers, or others;
In connection with any reorganization, creation of a new entity, asset sale or transfer, financing, or similar transaction in which personal information may be transferred as an organizational asset; and
With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not directly identify you. This does not apply to information collected through our SMS short code program.
Online Petitions
Petitions you sign online are public. We may publish a petition along with your name, city, state, and any comments you submit, and we may deliver petitions or compilations of them, including that information, to national, state, or local officials or to the media.
Social Sharing Features
The Sites may include social sharing tools, such as a Facebook "Like" button, that let you share your activity on our Sites with other platforms and vice versa. Depending on your settings with the provider of each tool, this may share information with your friends or the public. Please review those providers' privacy policies to learn how they collect and process data.
Third-Party Advertising and Analytics
We may permit third parties to use cookies and similar technologies to provide analytics and to show our ads on other websites based on your visits to our Sites and elsewhere online. These companies may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on pages, links clicked, and conversion data. We and others may use this information to analyze activity, gauge the popularity of content, deliver targeted advertising and content, and better understand online behavior.
For example, we may use Google Analytics remarketing or similar tools, which allow vendors such as Google to display our ads across the internet. These vendors may combine first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) with third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits. You can opt out of Google's interest-based advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
To learn more about interest-based advertising or to opt out of having your browsing data used for that purpose, visit www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp and www.aboutads.info/choices.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
